Camping in North Jutland
Our campsite is open all year round and has 100 pitches for both tents and caravans/motorhomes. You can choose your own pitch in one of our camping areas. Would you prefer to pitch up in an open field or in the heart of nature? The choice is yours!
At the front and rear of the campsite, there are heated toilet blocks equipped with (family) showers, toilets, waste disposal facilities, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a kitchen with a gas hob and a drain for chemical toilets. The pitch can be connected to electricity, and we have (limited) Wi-Fi coverage, depending on the pitch you choose. We also rent out seasonal pitches all year round.
Tent
If you’re bringing a tent, you can choose where you’d like to pitch it on our campsite. You can choose a communal area or a spot surrounded by nature!
We have free Wi-Fi at the campsite, and depending on where you’re pitched, you can make use of it. Your tent can also be connected to the mains electricity supply.

Our campsite is open all year round, so you can experience North Jutland in every season. The area around Tolne has something different to offer, whether you visit us during the summer holidays, the autumn half-term, the winter months or at Easter.
During the autumn half-term, Tolne Nature Park is a beautiful place to visit. The forest changes colour, the air becomes fresher, and the area is perfect for walks and cosy days out with the family. After a day full of adventures, you can return to the campsite and enjoy the peace and quiet around you.
Winter camping in North Jutland offers a truly special experience. As nature grows quieter and the landscape changes character, you can experience the area from a different perspective. It’s a great opportunity for those who’d like to camp outside the peak season and enjoy more space and peaceful surroundings.

Here, you’ll enjoy a camping experience with plenty of space to relax, take in the surroundings and enjoy your holiday at a leisurely pace.
The campsite is an excellent choice for those looking to camp in North Jutland close to nature, whilst also wanting a good base from which to explore some of North Jutland’s top attractions. From Tolne, it’s a short distance to places such as Hjørring, Sindal, Frederikshavn, Hirtshals and Skagen, making the site an ideal starting point for both short day trips and longer holidays.

At our campsite in North Jutland, you can choose the pitch that best suits your stay. We have 100 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and you can choose for yourself where on the site you’d like to stay.
If you’re travelling with a caravan or motorhome, you’ll find spacious pitches with plenty of room for both smaller and larger vehicles. There’s space for large caravans and motorhomes, so you can enjoy a comfortable holiday without feeling restricted by the space.
Several of the pitches are situated in quiet spots close to nature, where you can enjoy privacy and views of the green surroundings. If you’d prefer a more traditional camping experience, you can also choose a pitch closer to other campers.
Electricity is available at the campsite, and we offer facilities to make your stay easy and comfortable. On site, you’ll find heated toilet blocks with toilets, family showers, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a kitchen with a gas hob, and facilities for emptying chemical toilets.
For those travelling in a motorhome, the campsite is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a motorhome site in North Jutland with peaceful surroundings and practical facilities. Here, you can combine the freedom of motorhome life with a fixed base close to nature and local attractions.

Things to do near the campsite in North Jutland
From our campsite in Tolne, you have easy access to many of North Jutland’s popular attractions. Its location between Hjørring, Frederikshavn, Hirtshals and Skagen makes it easy to go on day trips and enjoy nature, wildlife, town life and family activities.
Skagen is about a 45-minute drive from the campsite and is one of North Jutland’s best-known destinations. Here, the whole family can visit Grenen, where the Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, go for a walk along the coast or explore the charming town centre.
On the way to Skagen, you can also explore Råbjerg Mile, Denmark’s largest shifting sand dune. This unique landscape is a treat for both children and adults and a great place to combine nature with exercise.
Hirtshals is about a 30-minute drive away and is home, amongst other things, to the North Sea Oceanarium, where the family can explore one of Northern Europe’s largest aquariums, featuring fascinating marine creatures.
Nearby, you’ll also find the Eagle Reserve, where you can see impressive birds of prey up close, as well as Fun Farm, a popular day-out destination for families with children.
Frederikshavn is about a 25-minute drive from the campsite and offers shopping, a charming harbour atmosphere and great opportunities for a day out by the water.
If you enjoy nature and active holidays, the area around Tolne Nature Park is ideal. Here you’ll find excellent walking routes through woods and hills, where you can experience the varied landscape of North Jutland. At the same time, several of North Jutland’s beautiful beaches are within easy reach, so a camping holiday can easily be combined with trips to the beach and refreshing experiences by the sea.

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi at the campsite. The signal strength varies slightly depending on where you are on the campsite – it’s strongest near reception and in the communal areas.
