Beaches in Denmark

Denmark is known for its beautiful beaches that stretch along the coasts of Jutland, Funen and Zealand. Each beach has its own charm and unique character, making them popular destinations for locals and tourists alike.

North Sea

The North Sea is known for its wide sandy beaches and powerful waves that attract surfers and bathers. Beaches such as Blåvand and Henne Strand offer not only fantastic bathing water, but also scenic surroundings with dunes and pine trees. Here you can enjoy long walks along the coast and experience the magnificent sunset.

Baltic Sea

The Baltic Sea has quieter beaches, such as Bornholm and Møn. These beaches are ideal for families with children as the water is often shallow and calm, making it safe to swim and play. Bornholm beaches, such as Dueodde, are known for their fine white sand and clear water, making them a favourite holiday destination.
